Simone Thomas Wellness
As a leading hair loss consultant, a bio-energetics practitioner and nutrition advisor, Simone Thomas has created a range of supplements to support healthy hair, skin and wellness. She’s built her reputation through award-winning hair salons and hair growth clinics across the UK, but through her research she found that nutrition, gut health and supplements can play a massive part in healthy hair, skin and overall wellbeing.
Simone started her early career as a model then serious health conditions meant she experienced hair loss and hair thinning which seriously affected her confidence and wellbeing. Now, Thomas helps others to gain glossy hair, glowing skin, and confidence through her advice and wellness products including Ginkgo Biloba, collagen and biotin to support hair loss, brain health, joint pain, skin health, and energy.
Outside of work, Thomas enjoys keeping active, cooking nutritious meals and spending weekends at the beach in Dorset where she lives with her family.
Shiffa
Dr. Lamees Hamdan created Shiffa when she couldn’t find a natural skincare product to reduce stretch marks when she was pregnant.
Having trained as a doctor at the Royal Collagen of Surgeons in Ireland, Hamdan sought to combine the simplicity of nature with science for a luxurious natural skincare brand that tackles anti-aging.
As well as founding Shiffa and supplement brand DL.MD, Hamdan is also a mother and a wife who now resides in Dubai where she is originally from. Hamdan believes in feeding your skin with natural ingredients, inside and out.
For her daily beauty routine, Hamdan starts with a mug of warm water with squeezed lemon in, then cleanses with Shiffa Aromatic Facial Cleanser and muslin cloth, applies Balancing Floral Toner, adds some drops of Brightening Ampoule, dabs on some Eye Cream, and applies sunscreen. At night, she uses Shiffa Rose Night Elixir so she can wake up looking radiant.
SKIIN Company
Ruby Sandhu and Sofia Seckinger are the co-founders of Swiss beauty brand, SKIIN Company. As nutritional experts, Ruby and Sofia share their ‘inside-out’ holistic approach to beauty and wellness.
Ruby and Sofia knew their audience cared about clean products, free of unnecessary, harmful ingredients. They wanted to start on the inside and so they launched complementary supplements: collagen powder Beauty Boost and vitamin-rich Glow Gummies. They have plans to launch topical skincare next, but focusing on feeding skin from the inside is at the heart of their ethos, plus they didn’t want to overwhelm their community, so they started with supplements.
SKIIN Company was created for the girl on the go; one who juggles busy schedules, motherhood, traveling and multiple roles at work and home, much like the founders themselves.
What makes SKIIN Company unique is their clean, holistic, 360-degree approach to beauty and the fact that every product formulation comes with influence directly from their community.
Skin Molecule X
When Dr. Sanja Zivanovic approached 30, she began to notice signs of aging like fine lines, wrinkles, hair loss and weak nails.
After testing several nutricosmetic products, including hard-to-swallow pills that she couldn’t keep up with, she turned to marine collagen, along with hyaluronic acid, coenzyme q10, vitamins A-E, and minerals like zinc, copper, and selenium. Within 4 weeks her skin was plump with no acne. Hair loss had decreased and her hair grew faster. She could see visible benefits, had more energy, and felt better than ever.
This spurred her on to support others with Skin Molecule X – a complete, reliable and powerful evidence-based formula with marine collagen and selected antioxidants, vitamins and minerals our bodies need to thrive, and tackle aging. The liquid formulation makes it more absorbent than other formulas, and the blend contains 100% of the recommended daily intake of vitamins and minerals.
After her PhD, Dr. Zivanovic launched Skin Molecule X to bring together science, beauty, and nutrition and to enhance health and beauty from the inside with nutricosmetics that are easy to take, without any unnecessary additives, and that actually taste good.
La Fervance
Melissa Obeid created La Fervance after noticing a gap in the market for sustainable, luxurious skincare.
La Fervance has created signature products with multi-uses to nourish skin, tackle anti-aging and enhance wellbeing. The products being 100% natural, multi-use and effective was important to Obeid as she realises the impact of the beauty industry on the planet. She insists there is no need for multiple products on the beauty shelf, but instead a couple that do it all.
La Fervance is certified with every possible sustainable certification, and is created in France in world-renowned Cosmetic Valley where the best cosmetic scientists in the world creates cosmetics.
La Fervance encourage their community to enjoy indulgent self-care rituals at home with skincare products and tools to make it special. Obeid’s determination is notable. Mauli Rituals
Anita Kaushal founded Mauli with her husband, Bittu. Native Brits of Indian heritage, they rediscovered Ayurveda healing principles when they made a pilgrimage to their motherland.
They were so fascinated that they furthered their knowledge on Ayuveda, and combined with a sense of British refinement, launched Mauli Rituals. They create all-natural, sensorial blends with the finest methods and ingredients rich in actives to heal, rejuvenate and balance within.
Mauli Rituals products are luxurious and natural appealing to those who want to savour traditional healing methods and practices with a modern sleekness and genuine quality. Zenii was created and formulated by Dr. Joahnna Ward, one of the UK’s leading skin doctors.
With beauty science at its core, Ward has created a cutting-edge skincare and supplements range that lies in optimising cellular nutrition, and she’s also an advocate for good gut health.
Zenii products fuse together what goes on our skin, and inside our body to nourish skin from all angles. Baubo
Co-founders Cecilia Capece and Bethsabee Krivoshey launched Baubo when they discovered a gap in the market for a balm that tackle vulva irritation and dryness.
When their market research found that 99% of women had experienced vulva irritation, they made it their mission to provide a solution. They were faced with their fair share of challenges, from not being taken seriously as two female founders, to launching an innovative product that no one had heard of to sourcing completely sustainable packaging, they had their work cut out.
But for Capece and Krivoshey, their drive prevailed. After 4 years of bringing Baubo to life alongside their corporate careers, they quit their jobs to pursue Baubo full-time, and have a care range for the whole family.
Baubo’s vuvla balm, Le Baume, is changing women’s lives for the better; relieving them, empowering them and giving them independence over their bodies. They plan to bring Baubo to more women, their families and their communities across the world.
