Krill are shrimp-like shellfish that live in the ocean. They're a rich source of omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) that contribute to good mental health and a radiant complexion. It also contains the naturally occurring antioxidant astaxanthin, which gives krill its red color, to protect the body against free radicals and oxidative stress, which can lead to premature aging like fine lines and wrinkles; dull and sagging skin. We can’t produce omega-3 naturally so we rely on supply from our nutrition. DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal vision and brain function.
